Jakarta – Kesatuan Organisasi Serbaguna Gotong Royong (Kosgoro) 1957, a part of the Golongan Karya (Golkar) Party, officially declared its support for the candidate pair for president and vice president number 2, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka, for the 2024 Presidential Election. This announcement was made during the celebration of the 66th Anniversary of Kosgoro 1957 at Merlynn Park Hotel, Central Jakarta, on Monday, November 27, 2023.
The Chairman of the Central Leadership Collective (PPK) of Kosgoro 1957, Dave Laksono, emphasized the organization’s commitment to support all volunteers for the victory of Prabowo-Gibran.
“We believe and are confident that our choice to support Prabowo-Gibran is not just a political slogan, but reflects the hope for a progressive and prosperous Indonesia,” said Dave.
The Chairman of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto, also affirmed Golkar’s steps in winning for Prabowo-Gibran during the National Leadership Consultation or Muspinas II.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the National Campaign Team (TKN) for Prabowo-Gibran, Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, emphasized the national campaign strategy that will target victory in one round.
Although Prabowo Subianto was not present, he expressed his appreciation and thanks to Kosgoro 1957 through a video.
“Hopefully Kosgoro continues to progress and continues to provide the best service for the Indonesian nation,” said Prabowo in his video message.
This support marks a serious step for Kosgoro 1957 in the direction of national politics, where they demonstrate seriousness, readiness, and the ability to win the presidential and vice-presidential candidates supported by the Indonesian Forward Coalition (Koalisi Indonesia Maju or KIM). With aligned spirit and programs, Kosgoro 1957 promises to fight to win this pair.
