Saimin of Indramayu: Grateful for Palace Ceremony Invite

Saimin, an elderly man from Indramayu, West Java, was filled with a mix of emotions and pride as he witnessed the lowering of the national flag, the Sang Saka Merah Putih, at Merdeka Palace during Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day commemoration. He expressed his joy at being able to see the event in person at the palace, instead of watching it on TV at home like he usually does. Saimin praised President Prabowo Subianto for being a leader who is close to the people and caring for those in need. He commended the president’s hard work, highlighting his frequent visits to communities across the country and his responsiveness to issues. Saimin also emphasized the importance of unity among Indonesians, especially as the country celebrates 80 years of independence. He expressed his gratitude to President Prabowo for the invitation to the palace, thanking him for the experience.
