President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, and President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, have announced a breakthrough in the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) negotiations between Indonesia and the European Union. This deal comes after a decade of discussions.
During a joint press conference in Brussels, President Prabowo stated that both parties had reached a significant understanding. He highlighted the importance of the agreement as a free trade agreement, emphasizing the mutually beneficial nature of the negotiations. President Prabowo also stressed the strategic significance of the partnership in ensuring economic and geopolitical stability amid global uncertainties.
