Prabowo and MBS Enhance Humanitarian Aid for Gaza

Indonesia and Saudi Arabia have expressed their deep concern about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the result of the Israeli military offensive. This concern was brought to light during the official meeting between Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud (MBS) during Prabowo’s state visit to the Kingdom. Both countries have agreed to enhance coordination in providing emergency aid and broader humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza.

The official joint statement released by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) underscored the commitment of both nations to continue offering humanitarian aid and support for recovery efforts in light of Israeli aggression. Along with discussing the situation in Gaza, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia also reiterated their mutual determination to strengthen cooperation in maintaining international stability and security. They pledged to work together to foster regional peace and bolster global resilience.

The meeting, held at Al-Salam Palace in a cordial and welcoming atmosphere, underscored the strong strategic relationship between the two countries. Images published by SPA depicted President Prabowo and Crown Prince MBS engaged in conversations, with flags of Indonesia and Saudi Arabia in the background.
