President Prabowo Subianto’s official visit to Saudi Arabia on July 1, 2025, was warmly received by Indonesian elementary school children residing in Jeddah. The children greeted the President with excitement, waving flags and chanting “Welcome, Mr. President!” The initial formal reception soon turned into a heartwarming and joyful moment as President Prabowo engaged with the children, smiling and posing for photos. A student named Arsad Hanfana Al-Syarabi, whose parents worked at the Indonesian Embassy in Jeddah, proudly introduced himself to the President. Before continuing his visit, President Prabowo took a moment to deliver a simple yet sincere message to the children, encouraging them to excel in their studies.
The encounter was not only emotional for the children but also touched members of the Indonesian community in Jeddah, such as Hanif Hasanuddin from the Muhammadiyah Special Branch (PCIM). Hanif expressed gratitude for the President’s visit and shared his hopes for Indonesia’s future. Accompanied by high-ranking Indonesian officials, President Prabowo built a strong connection with the Indonesian community residing abroad during his visit. This visit was more than just a diplomatic mission; it was a meaningful experience that left a lasting impact on the young generation in Saudi Arabia.
