The construction, which was found to lack the necessary permits, was deemed a violation of the regulations outlined in the Job Creation Law. Consequently, the construction site has been sealed pending further investigation to determine ownership and legality. President Prabowo has instructed a comprehensive legal review of the situation, involving collaboration with various entities such as the Indonesian Navy and the Marine Security Agency (Bakamla). The objective is to ensure adherence to legal protocols and mitigate potential negative impacts like erosion.
