Jakarta – Presidential candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto congratulated the Indonesian national football team’s success in reaching the round of 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup.
Prabowo conveyed this when attending an open campaign with the theme “Suara Muda Indonesia untuk Prabowo-Gibran” at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on Saturday (27/1).
Indonesia, according to Prabowo, for the first time in many years, successfully made history by securing a spot in the round of 16 in the 2023 Asian Cup.
“And for the first time in many years, Indonesia entered the round of 16 of the Asian Cup,” said Prabowo.
He also urged the public to continue to support the Indonesian national team. Moreover, the next match will be against Australia. “If I’m not mistaken, they will play against Australia tomorrow. We pray for a surprise. But whatever happens, we support our national team,” he said.
